Common questions
How do I book a puja?
Message on WhatsApp with the puja you need and the dates you can travel. Pandit Ji replies with a suitable muhurat, what to bring and the final dakshina.
How far in advance should I message?
About a week is comfortable for most pujas. The three-day pujas and the larger yagyas need more notice, since dates and purohits have to be arranged.
What does the dakshina include?
The amounts on this site are a starting point for the vidhi itself. Puja saman, and arrangements such as a hall or bhojan, are discussed on WhatsApp before the date is fixed.
Which languages does Pandit Ji speak?
English, Hindi and Marathi. Each step of the vidhi is explained in the language the family prefers.
Can a puja be performed in the name of someone who cannot travel?
For some pujas yes, with their name, birth details and gotra. Others require the person to sit for the vidhi themselves. Please ask about your particular puja.
